Hair
  • Must be short and appropriately styled.
  • May not touch the ears or the collar.
  • Dyed hair is not permitted
  • Hair must be neat, tidy and appropriately styled.
  • Shoulder length or longer hair must be tied.
  • Blue or white accessories, or Anderson tartan scrunchies may be worn.
Shaving
  • Learners must provide a doctors certificate if they are unable to shave. Where facial hair is visible, boys need to shave and must do so regularly.

Nails
  • Nails must be kept short. Must not be seen over the fingers when hands are held palm up.
  • Nails must be kept short. Must not be seen over the fingers when hands are held palm up. No nail varnish, decorative nail attachments/stencils/nail motifs or false nails allowed.
 Accessories & Jewellery
  • Metal badges, associated with the School may be worn.
  • Medical Alert bracelet may be worn.
  • No jewellery, earrings, rings, chains allowed.
  • Body piercings, tongue, nose, eyebrow studs, bristles allowed.
  • No body art (tattoos, drawings, transfers allowed.
  • Metal badges, associated with the School may be worn.
  • Medical Alert bracelet may be worn.
  • A single gold or silver stud (4mm) or sleepers (max diameter 15mm) may be worn in each ear, in the ear lobe.

PLEASE NOTE:
  • The Lyttelton Manor High School tracksuit may be worn for PE Sport and for sporting events.
  • The following must be worn by both boys and girls for the PE Sport period only:
    • White T-Shirt
    • School tracksuit pants / School athletics shorts
  • The Lyttelton Manor High School tracksuit may be worn in Winter together with a long sleeved white shirt, School jersey, School tie and School shoes. Both the tracksuit top and bottom must be worn simultaneously.
